Sucre is a compact, attractive city full of white colonial architecture – hence the name “White City”. KulturBerlin “Sleep” is just 5 minutes up from the main plaza, 5 minutes from the bus terminal by taxi and about 25 minutes from the airport. Comfortable beds come as standard, hot water ditto.
The small dormitory is perfect for those wanting to make new friends or travelling on a budget. With a maximum of twelve guests divided into the two adjacent rooms, it’s an inviting place to hang out. The dormitories include unusual wooden mezzanine levels where you can find a little extra privacy. Secure wood lockers and beautiful wood floors – not your classic dorm – these rooms are an experience in themselves.
The dorms open out onto a pretty terrace over looking the patio or onto the secret garden – perfect for a spot of rest and relaxation. The bar and restaurant are only a few steps away and laundry facilities are easily accessible.
The private rooms are quite special. Don’t expect the classic square room with two double beds side by side. These rooms are interesting and eclectic, how often do you see a mini library in a room? Old furniture, odd shapes and a quiet patio just outside – with a hammock.
All the private rooms are spacious, secure and with en-suite facilities. Our style is a mixture of modern and antique furniture to offer you the comforts required by the modern traveler while retaining an atmosphere of colonial charm. Proper showers, proper beds and a good nights sleep come as standard.
Imagine a secret garden just steps away from the hustle and bustle of Sucre’s best bar, but secluded, quiet and calm. Imagine a cosy cottage with rustic furniture opening out onto a courtyard garden with lawns and vegetable patches.
The cottages are a unique option. An opportunity to hide away, reflect, relax. We’re confident you will not find anything like them in Bolivia. As with all the rooms, comfort comes as standard, a great bed, and a great bathroom.
